SGSY The Govt started the scheme of SGSY. Of India
with effect from 1.4.99 after merging six programmes/schemes viz. IRDP,
Trysem, DWCRA,Sitra, GKY, MWS. The families living below poverty are assisted
under this programme. Individialy as well as groups by arranging bank loan
and providing subsidy to the Swarozaries which is forwarded at the rate of
50% to the group with maximum limit of 1.25 lacs while SC individuals are
forwarded 50% subsidy with maximum limit to Rs. 10000/- other non SC
swarozari are provided subsidy at the rate of 30% with maximum limit of Rs.
7500/- 20 percent of the total available funds are kept for programme
Infrastructure, 10% for training component and 10% for revolving funds to the
groups. IAY NEW CONSTRUCTION. IAY A sum of Rs. 20000/- per family is provided to
the BPL families who do not have their own pucca house, so that they may
construction pucca house for better living conditions. IAY
UPGRADATION Those BPL
families who have their own pacca houses and need upgradation/improvement,
they are provided funds to the tune of Rs. 10000/- per family for the
purpose. IAY
CREDIT-CUM-SUBSIDY SCHEME FOR HOUSE The families living just above the povertyline
with annual family upto Rs. 32000/- are provided assistance for housing under
credit-cum-Subsidy scheme IAY for housing under which of Rs. 10000/- subsidy
with a maximum total 40000/- bank loan(Credit) is provided for construction
of house. EAS For
creation durable community assets and providing wage employment in rural area
to the unemployed persons. EAS is
implemented 30% of the total funds are yearmark for Zila Parishad and 70% for
Panchayat Samities who recommends schemes and these are implemented after
final approval of Zila Parishad. JGSY Jawhar Gram Samridhi Yojana is implemented for creation of durable
community assets and providing wage employment in the rural areas. Total
funds are directely provided to all the Gram Panchayat in ratio of population
of the concerned Gram Panchayat. IREP The
scheme is in operation in this district since 1987-88. The purpose of the
scheme to use non conventional energy sources i.e. Bio-Energy, Wind Energy,
Solar Energy etc. and also to minimize the consumption of the existing energy
by using energy saving devices such as Electronic Fan Regulator, Compact
Flourecent Lamp etc. APNI BETI APNA DHAN Under this scheme all the scheduled caste
families and other BPL families are covered. On first two female birth the
mother is provided a sum of Rs. 500/- for maternal care and the girl child is
provided Rs. 2500/- in the shape of IVPs which are payable to the girls child
after attaining the age of 18 years.
The scheme is implemented through ICDS in rural areas and through Civil
Surgeon in Urban areas. NSAP( NFBS) Under
this programme if any earning head of the family dies, the family is provided
assistance to the tune of Rs. 10000/- for accidental and 5000/- for normal
death. NSAP(NOAP) Under
this scheme a sum of Rs. 75/- is provided to the senior citizen of the age 65
years and above and living below poverty line. NSAP(NMBS) Under
this scheme the pragnent mother of BPL families are provided Rs. 500/- each
for the birth of first two childern. SJSRY The
scheme of the SJSRY has been started by merging Urban Poverty Alleviation
Programmes such as NRY, PMIUPEP and UBSP. The assistance to the individual
with maximum bank loan of Rs. 50000/- and subsidy @ 15% with maximum amount
of Rs. 7500/- is provided to the urban below poverty line familes for
establishing viable unit of self employment. The self-help group is provided
subsidy @ 50% with maximum limit of Rs. 1.25 lac. For Development programme
funds are provided under Enviorment Improvement of slum, National Slum
Development Programme and Assistance under 10th Finance Commission
for developmental of various urban
